It's been another year of building with the St. Paul's CBS GAA teams. The incoming 1st Years performed very well in a Blitz with St. Vincent's and St. Josephs. Many of the team were playing GAA for the first time and played admirably.
The lads were narrowly defeated 1-2 to 1-0 by St. Joesph's in the first game. Peter O'Brien in goal made some brilliant stops and was very accurate with his kickouts. A goal by Lewis Losty briefly put the Brunner in with a shout of victory but the clock was against them.
In the second game, the lads put it up to a very good St. Vincent's team. A smashing goal by Ruben Odeh was the highlight for the Brunner, but in the end it wasn't to be.
Overall, it was a great debut for the team and it'll be great to see how they build on this for next year.
