Leaving Certificate
The Leaving Certificate is a two year programme that covers a wide range of subjects. It offers students a broad and balanced education and allows students choose between optional subjects. The Leaving Certifcate helps students progress into further education, employment, training and higher education.
All students study English, Maths and Irish (with the exception of those who have an Irish exemption.) In St. Paul's CBS, students also choose four other subjects from our options list. These options include: History, Geography, French, Italian, Business, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, Construction Studies and Home Economics.
We are very proud of the wide range of optional subjects on offer in our school.
