Welcome to St Paul’s CBS Secondary School Website. Our school has been in existence since 1869 and if you would like to read a brief outline of its history please click here. It is a school steeped in history, a school that has served and worked with the families of the community for over 150 years. We are very proud of this work and we value the caring traditions of our school and the positive impact that these traditions can bring to the lives of our students. We are proud of our students and we celebrate their achievements during their time in school and in their lives beyond here. We are proud of the staff both past and present who gave and who give so much to their work. We are thankful to those families who trust us with their children’s education and grateful for the support that we receive. We understand the value of the strong links that we have with the local community and how this enhances and improves the life of the school and helps us to continue to provide all our students with the opportunity to develop and nurture their talents to the fullest in an environment of mutual care and respect.
So, whether you are a visitor, a parent/guardian, a pupil or a past pupil we hope that you find something to interest you in the following pages. If you would like to contact the school you can e-mail office@thebrunner.ie and we would welcome your views and comments.
And should you know us as St Paul’s CBS, ‘The School Around the Corner’ or ‘The Brunner’, welcome!
Sincerely,
Dr. Patrick McCormack
